Operation Foils Cross-Border Intrusion
In a major counter-infiltration success, Indian security forces on Monday neutralized two terrorists attempting to infiltrate from Pakistan-occupied territory into Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir. The encounter, which took place in the dense forests near the Line of Control (LoC), lasted several hours and demonstrated the preparedness of Indian troops amid heightened alert in the region.
